Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of customized IT projects, turning client requirements into actionable tasks, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AGILE methodology, experience running Sprints, and a track record of managing complex projects. A PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, from requirement gathering through to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Translate client requirements into detailed project plans, defining tasks, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and scope, ensuring project milestones are met and any changes are effectively managed.
- Facilitate AGILE ceremonies including Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, Sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, changes, and any issues that arise.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
- Generate Documentation like Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Technical Requirements Documentation (TDR) and User Guides to aid in the delivery of the project.
Required qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project / Business Management, or related field preferred but not necessary.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT, with a focus on customized solutions.
- Good knowledge of AGILE methodology and experience running Sprints.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and scope.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
